Volkspark Friedrichshain

Went for a ride through the park this morning. Built from 1846-48, it has been changed, destroyed, and restored since. From the 1950’s through late 90’s it even had a huge swim stadium which held up to 8,000 people. Four columns of the former entrance are all that’s left.

And lots of open space.
